Diana Bankas Bouvery

Diana is a qualified counsellor and a member of both the Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked professionals(ACC) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Diana offers private therapy sessions for adults, providing a safe,  supportive, and confidential space where clients can explore their  thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.

Diana's core approach is Person-Centered Therapy,  grounded in the belief that each individual is the expert on their own  experience and possesses the capacity for growth, self-understanding,  and positive change when provided with the right therapeutic conditions.  Alongside this, her approach is integrative, drawing on a range of  therapeutic modalities  to meet the unique needs of each client.

Diana's  professional journey began in medical school, followed by work as a  junior doctor in West Africa. This experience provided valuable insight  into both physical and emotional wellbeing and fostered a deep  appreciation of the complexity of human experience. Through her work in  healthcare, Diana became increasingly interested in the psychological  and emotional aspects of care, which led her to explore humanistic  approaches to therapy. Her own journey of self-exploration and desire to  better understand what it means to truly live authentically ultimately  inspired her to pursue a career in counselling.

Through  her training and experience, Diana has supported clients facing a wide  range of challenges, helping them to develop greater self-awareness,  strengthen relationships, and enhance their overall wellbeing. She  believes that the therapeutic relationship is central to this process,  offering a space where clients feel heard, valued, accepted, and  understood.

Diana offers both  short-term and long-term counselling for adults. Areas she commonly  supports clients with include anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss,  trauma, abuse, anger management, relationship difficulties,  self-esteem, identity and cultural issues, spirituality, stress,  health-related concerns, work-related challenges, redundancy,  and mood difficulties.

As  a qualified counsellor, Diana provides compassionate support and  practical tools to help clients move towards greater clarity,  resilience, self-understanding, and peace of mind.

Chris Brown

Chris is a qualified counsellor, accredited coach and Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner.

Chris is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and  offers private therapy, coaching, mentoring or integrated therapy sessions for young people and adults.

My background

Chris  has over fifteen years’ experience within the financial services  industry and five years in property lettings and management.  I have  worked and led teams and projects in high-pressure, fast-paced  environments across large global corporate firms and small boutique  businesses. More recently, alongside his private practice, Chris has  been working with a successful College in the Southeast of the UK  as a  Wellbeing Practitioner to the students and as a counsellor for a charity  in his local community. Chris’s working life experience provides him  with a wide and varied understanding of how the complexities of  different environments may impact the health of a person both mentally,  physically and behaviourally.

My approach and style –

Chris  places his clients at the centre of a warm, open and professional  environment where they are valued, listened to and well supported  without judgement.  His work is person centred and holistic offering a non-judgemental space that supports emotional wellbeing alongside practical, meaningful progress.

His  empathetic approach allows clients to develop their own sense of  self-worth and feel comfortable to share and process difficult or  painful thoughts, feelings or situations.

Chris  facilitates change by enabling clients to identify, explore and  understand key areas of their life and the current challenges they face  and draw upon their own experiences and inner resources to feel more  fulfilled or satisfied from the experience.

Chris  has an integrative approach to therapy and incorporates several ways of  working to adapt his style according to the needs of each client. This  may be a person-centred approach, allowing clients to be actively  involved in exploring their past and developing their own healthier  responses; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify  and address unhealthy patterns in their thoughts, behaviours and  actions; Mindfulness to help calm anxious responses. Chris believes that  therapy can also focus on developing the potential of his clients, and  occasionally he may blend coaching into the process to offer a solution  focused approach and existential style.

Coaching and Mentoring

I  work as both a coach and mentor. I facilitate change and make myself  available to individuals, groups or businesses who want to positively  transform their life or workforce.
My sessions can be carried out in a  variety of ways, including online video calls, face-to-face, walk and  talk sessions. All my sessions are conducted in a confidential,  non-judgemental manner and prove truthful, challenging and empowering.  However, they are also engaging, interactive and fun.
As your coach  and mentor, I support and empower you to analyse your life and discover  what you really want. Through a series of focussed conversations, we  will take time to work out who you are and what you really want your  life to be like. We will discuss your goals, desires and aspirations in  the various areas of your life.

We focus on your strengths, your needs, and the strategies that genuinely help you thrive.

Chris’s training in both Coaching and Counselling allows  him to offer a flexible, integrated approach to his clients. Before  working with Chris, he offers a discovery call to explore what you need  and where you are on your journey and tailors your work together  accordingly.
